The Soul Bodies

The Spirits, or Solar Angels, are Spiritual sparks, thrown off, by the Holy Trinity. All Spirits find themselves on one of the seven rays on the Monadic plane [second from the top], where itself is a trinity. As the spirit falls into matter it clothes itself with seven bodies, each one more courser than the previous one. They are the atmic, buddhic, egoic [Soul], mental, astral, etheric and physical bodies. [Matter truly is spirit in its lowest form.]

The Monads arrange themselves in groups on the monadic plane according to their rays.

The Soul on the higher mental plane is the instrument used by the spirit to work with, in matter. It is the middle principle, the Christ aspect, between God [Spirit] and His form [body]. It is the force that drives the form along the path of evolution, through all the kingdoms of nature. It is the Christ in you, and on the level of the Soul it is one with all the other Souls, one with the Christ and part of the Over-soul. Therefore, to become part of the Soul, we must think more inclusive and less of ourselves.

The personality is formed by the astral body, the etheric body and the physical body. Through meditation the personality can align itself with the Soul and let the will of the Soul be manifest in the world. The vital or etheric body, express the energy of the Soul through the energy centres where it works through the glands on the blood as well as through the nervous system on the brain of the physical body. The vital body unifies and links all the forms into one whole and forms also part of the etheric web of the Planet or even the Universe. It is the transmitter of spiritual and different types of cosmic forces to and from the physical body. Through it the Soul can thus mediate between the Monad [spirit] and the Personality as well as between the higher three planes in nature and the lower three. [Seven in total on this plane, the physical plane which is one of 7 each having seven sub planes. That makes it 49 planes] It also links the physical body with the astral body which is the battle ground of the emotions. When the personality makes contact with the Soul, he has access to these planes and forces.

The constitution of man is created so that Spirit can express itself more adequately as evolution proceeds.
