Thus, esotericism is the science of redemption, and of this all World Saviours are the everlasting symbol and exponents [explainers or ambassadors]. It was to redeem substance and its forms that the planetary Logos came into manifestation, and the entire Hierarchy with its great Leader, the Christ [the present word Symbol], might be regarded as a hierarchy of redeemers, skilled in the science of redemption. It is the redemption of unprincipled substance, its creative restoration and spiritual integration, which is Their goal. Their activity will produce a great spiritual and planetary fusion, of which the fusion of personality and soul is the symbol in the microcosmic sense. We can see by this the close relation between the work of the individual aspirant or disciple as he redeems, salvages and purifies his threefold body of manifestation and the work of the planetary Logos as He performs a similar task in connection with the “three periodical vehicles” with which He works: His personality vehicle, His soul expression and His monadic aspect.
These concepts give to all living, a true meaning and a sense of useful activity about life. We are part of a great redemptive activity, which includes not only our own individual redemption but is also a constructive part of a great scheme of redemption up to a cosmic scale. When we have reached the end of our quest- than we have redeemed our lower bodies. The same goes for the planetary Logos and solar Logos.
The forces of evolution are the main redeemer and as we start to work with the Plan, we become part of it. Humanity, the fourth kingdom in nature, is the planetary saviour of the three lower subhuman kingdoms. The ultimate function of the human kingdom is in applying the Will of God to those kingdoms in execution of the divine Plan; of the lifting, releasing or redeeming of the “lives” evolving through the forms of those kingdoms. We are already doing this work through the domestication of animals and the cultural work taking place in the vegetable kingdom.
