Occult Meditation

The secret of meditation work in its earlier stages is the power to visualise. This is the first stage to be mastered. It leads to the ability to use the creative power of the imagination plus mental energy, as a measure to further the ends of the Hierarchy and to carry out the Divine Plan. Visualisation is the initial step in the demonstration of the occult law that, energy follows thought. One of your first tasks is to achieve factual knowledge of this. Visualisation builds a picture-form on the astral plane and the thought energy of the mind gives life and direction to this form. Thereby a rapport or line of energy is constructed between the mind and the astral vehicle and it becomes a triple line of energy when the Soul of the disciple is utilising this creative process in some planed and definitely constructive manner. It is also with these, self-created forms, embodying spiritual ideas and divine purpose, that the Masters work and Hierarchical purpose takes shape.

The basic objective of occult meditation is to enable an individual to become in outer manifestation what he or she is in inner reality and true occult meditation is practiced as a service to the human race. It is also the single most effective means for transcending the binding, restrictive sense of separateness and isolation which imprison the human consciousness and render it futile. As a planetary service it is practical and effective and is a method of cooperating with the process of planetary evolution and planetary redemption.
